Poster: 17th Icograda Seminar
The International Council of Graphic Design Associations
1991
The International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA) has been the professional world body for graphic design and visual communication since it was founded in London in 1963. Every February Icograda sponsors a two day student seminar in London. This poster announced the 1991 seminar. The two old Kodak slide mounts, forming the eyes, were turned upside-down so that the familiar swish of the logo could generate eyelashes. The features were banged out on an old Olivetti Lettera 22 typewriter, the black background was selected to put the audience in the dark.
